Early in her career, Dr. Nicole Whitehead began to distinguish herself, graduating Summa Cum Laude from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and continuing on to be Valedictorian of her graduating class from Life Chiropractic College West in 2002.
Upon completing her education and internship, Dr. Nicole built a busy practice in Michigan, caring for acute injuries and arising problems, but focused on helping patients achieve wellness and optimum performance.
Through her husband's involvement in the motorsports industry, Dr. Nicole became a sought-after commodity by drivers and crew alike. Racing was one of the reasons why she and her husband relocated to North Carolina in the early 2000s. Dr. Nicole opened Advanced Spinal Fitness in Mooresville in 2007 and has enjoyed caring for her Lake Norman community ever since.
Although she enjoys caring for athletes and the whole family, from pediatric to geriatric, dearest to her heart is the care of pregnant mothers and infants. Along with chiropractic adjustments to the spine or extremities, Dr. Lynne also uses soft tissue techniques such as Graston, which utilizes stainless steel instruments to break up muscle adhesions /scar tissue, Interferential Current machines (IFC muscle stimulation), and Low-Intensity Laser Therapy for soft tissue repair. Dr. Lynne also has all of these tools available for out-of-office use when needed.
In 2015, Dr. Lynne completed the rigorous requirements necessary to obtain the postgraduate designation of Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP) from the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians, becoming one of over 5500 chiropractors internationally who are specially trained and certified in the prevention and treatment of athletic injuries. "I believe in the effectiveness of chiropractic care, as I've seen it at work first hand. People come to ASF because they are experiencing pain or limited mobility. Our doctors treat and make our patients feel better without the use of drugs. All four of our doctors have really opened my eyes to alternative healthcare options. I strive to make sure that every patient's visit is enjoyable and efficient."
Chris enjoys hiking, traveling, and photography. When Chris and her husband, Dennis, are vacationing away from their home in Statesville, there is a good chance you will find them visiting their friend Mickey Mouse in Florida.
